The team

Mike Turner

Mike has extensive experience of producing high quality carpentry and joinery. From managing site projects to producing purpose-made joinery, Mike and his team have worked on a wide variety of construction projects and his firm is now one of the main carpentry and joinery businesses in the area. Mike served his apprenticeship at R. Butcher and Son, once one of the biggest and longest established independent building firms in the area who were renowned for their high quality work. Whilst there, Mike qualified to a level of City and Guilds Carpentry and Joinery 'Craft' and 'Advanced Craft', achieving distinctions in both. After 11 years at the firm gaining valuable experience and knowledge, Mike started his own business in 1994. Mike takes pride in his excellent reputation locally and always strives to provide a personal service that is friendly, efficient and reliable.

The team

Mike employs a team of apprentice-served and qualified carpenters to assist with an increasing workload. Each is trained to work to Mike's exacting standards in order to produce work of the highest quality. They all work as a tightly-knit team, ensuring that customers expectations are always met and exceeded whenever possible. Mike has been affiliated with the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) for a number of years and continually trains and supports apprentices to develop into quality tradesmen.
